SN instructed patient/pcg on Vertigo. It is a sudden internal or external spinning sensation, often triggered by moving your head too quickly. Vertigo can have causes that aren't due to underlying disease. Examples include spinning in circles or medication side effects. Sitting down right away and rising slowly when getting up may help relieve vertigo. To improve balance, using a cane may also help. Vertigo may be a symptom of other issues, like migraine or motion sickness. See a doctor if you feel that your vertigo is getting worse.
